U19s Bring It Home to Close Out the 2025/26 Season

After a successful morning with a win from the U17s, the Birmingham Panthers U19s NPL faced Loughborough Lightning in their final match of the 2025/26 season, once again showcasing their strength within the league. Following an outstanding campaign, the team entered the game determined to finish on a high and further cement their position on the table.

The Birmingham Panthers gained an early edge, leading 16-15 at the end of the first quarter, and continued to build momentum into the second. Their pressure paid off, heading into half-time with a strong 36-24 lead. A dominant second half saw the Birmingham Panthers in full control, ultimately securing a convincing 69-49 victory to cap off an excellent season.

There was further recognition for standout performances, with Ffion Evans awarded Opposition Player of the Match, while Millie Gidda received both Coaches’ Player and Players’ Player awards.

After an exceptional 2025/26 season, this U19s side has plenty to be excited about. With talent, depth, and continued development, they are undoubtedly a team to watch in the years ahead.
