Birmingham Panthers opened the 2026 Netball Super League season with a committed and competitive performance against NIC Leeds Rhinos at the University of Worcester Arena.
In front of a passionate home crowd, Birmingham Panthers showed confidence, intensity and togetherness across long periods of the contest, delivering an encouraging display despite the final 54–39 scoreline.
A Confident Opening Quarter
Birmingham Panthers made a strong start, settling quickly into the pace of the game. Sharp ball movement through the mid-court and composed finishing in the circle helped Birmingham Panthers establish an early 5–2 lead.
