The Birmingham Panthers, in partnership with Codsall Middle School, are excited to announce a packed day of Netball activities this May half term. Whether you’re just starting out, looking to develop your skills, or returning to the sport after time away, there’s something for everyone in this inclusive and dynamic programme.

Cubs Festival (Ages 8–11)

The Cubs Festival is the perfect introduction to Netball for younger players. Designed specifically for children aged 8 to 11, the day will be filled with fun games, skill-building activities, and plenty of time on court. It’s a brilliant way to build confidence, make friends, and fall in love with the sport.

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: £50

Attacking and Defensive Specialist Sessions (Ages 12–15)

For young players ready to develop their tactical and technical game, our specialist sessions offer focused coaching in both attacking and defensive play.

• Morning Session – Attacking (10:00 AM – 12:15 PM): Players will work on developing key attacking skills to enhance their effectiveness on court.

• Afternoon Session – Defensive (12:45 PM – 3:00 PM): This session will focus on positioning, interception, and marking to help players become stronger defenders.

Players can attend both sessions or choose the one that best suits their development needs.

Cost Options:

• Full Day: £50

• Attacking Session Only: £30

• Defensive Session Only: £30

Adult Masterclass with Connie Francis (Ages 18+)

We’re delighted to welcome Jamaican international and Netball legend Connie Francis for a unique adult masterclass. Connie has represented her country in five Netball World Championships and coached the Jamaican Sunshine Girls to international medals, including silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Now Director of Netball and Assistant Coach for the Birmingham Panthers, Connie brings a wealth of experience and insight. Whether you’re returning to the court, trying Netball for the first time, or aiming to refine your skills, this is a rare opportunity to train with one of the sport’s greats.
