Jo Trip to Depart as Birmingham Panthers Head Coach at End of Season

The Birmingham Panthers have confirmed that Head Coach Jo Trip will be leaving the club at the conclusion of the current Netball Super League season.
In an official statement released today, the club expressed its appreciation for Jo Trip’s contribution during the Panthers’ debut season:
“We can confirm that Jo Trip will be leaving the Birmingham Panthers at the end of this season.
As the club continues to grow and we make plans for the future, this decision follows the natural conversations that happen at the end of a season.
Jo has decided to explore new opportunities and will leave with our huge gratitude and respect. Her drive and leadership have been felt by all involved in the club.”
Birmingham Panthers Exec-Chair Alison Kay praised Jo Trip for her leadership and the foundational role she has played during the club’s first year:
“Jo has played a significant role in shaping the Panthers during our first year in the League. Her energy and commitment have left a lasting impact on all who have worked with her. She will continue to lead the team through the remainder of the season, and we wish her every success in the next chapter of her journey.”
Reflecting on her time at the club, Jo Trip shared heartfelt thoughts about her experience:
“Being part of the Panthers’ journey as the club’s first-ever Head Coach has been a privilege. It’s a great honour to work with, support and be surrounded by an exceptional group of elite athletes who have given their all throughout this campaign. I have been inspired by the passion, commitment, and tireless work of coaches and support staff throughout the season.
Last but not least, the energy and passion of our supporters has been a real inspiration for me and the team. With two big home games remaining, we’re focused and determined to finish this campaign strong and do you proud.”
