The Birmingham Panthers are pleased to announce that Samantha Ngubane will join the squad for the remainder of the season, following the injury to Tiana Metuarau.

Ngubane joins the Birmingham Panthers with international pedigree, just having competed and winning the 2026 Spar Challenge vs England. She was awarded, player of the match and best shooter within the series, for her clinical accuracy in the circle.

Head Coach Sonia Mkoloma said:
“Samantha is a really exciting addition for us at this stage of the season. She brings a strong shooting presence and has developed within a very competitive environment. We’re looking forward to welcoming her into the squad.”

The club continues to support Metuarau through her rehabilitation following hip surgery, while remaining focused on maintaining momentum for the remainder of the season.
